Other national racing series are also at the start as part of the supporting program for the racing weekends. Regulations
The vehicles that take part in the Swedish Touring Car Championship comply with the FIA's Super 2000 regulations . With the N2000 regulations, there is also a national counterpart, which allows teams to develop their own racing cars without having to have them homologated by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile.
The starting grid for the first race of an event is determined by a 20-minute qualifying . The racing drivers from the ninth fastest time go on the starting grid of the race in the order of their position at the end of the qualifying. The eight fastest drivers in qualifying will then drive the Super Pole among themselves. Each of the eight racing drivers completes a single lap, with the one with the fastest time taking pole position . Starting positions two to eight will go to the second to eighth fastest racing drivers in the Super Pole. Two races with a maximum length of 20 minutes take place on each race weekend. The starting grid for the first race is determined by qualifying and the subsequent Super Pole. In the second race, the first eight drivers from the first race start in reverse order. The drivers from ninth place in the first race start in the order of their placement in the first race. All races are opened with a flying start.
In 2010 the points will be distributed according to the scheme 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 for the first ten drivers.
