The EA Sports F1 series consists of five racing simulations based on Formula 1 . The games were released annually between 2000 and 2003, then sales stopped and finally resumed in 2006. The games were developed by Image Space Incorporated (PC) and Visual Science (console version).

Gameplay

The Formula 1 games have a variety of driving aid options so that each player can customize the game to their own taste. The driving behavior can be used either as an arcade game or as a driving simulation .

F1 Career Challenge

After the loss of the official Formula 1 license from Formula One Administration Ltd to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (publisher of the competing F1 series for PlayStation / PlayStation 2 ), ISI developed 2003 F1 Career Challenge in its final version for PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube . The game features four full seasons (1999–2002), a round-up of all of ISI's F1 games, and yet the game has become a cult platform for modders and sim racers.

By using simple tools (with a text editor you can change the route, driver and engine settings, among other things), many user-created modifications were made after 2003.

The game also offers a multiplayer online version.
