The half-timbered house Imhofstrasse 4 in Lauingen , a town in the Swabian district of Dillingen on the Danube , was opened in the 16th and 17th centuries. Century erected. The house is a protected architectural monument .

The town house with a massive ground floor and two upper floors faces the street with the gable . The ground floor has been modernized. The plastered half-timbered upper floors protrude over consoles . The first floor has strong corner consoles as an inverted pyramid and a narrow center console. The second floor rests on three consoles from the 19th century decorated with acanthus . These consoles are diamond-coated on the head . The gable protrudes on three narrow, plastered beam heads. Both upper floors have four windows each with a profiled window sill and acanthus consoles. The side walls, also made of plastered half-timbering, protrude over head struts , and there is a window on each of the two upper floors. At the gable there is a loading hatch with an elevator beam.
