Always Trouble with Newton is a German- Canadian cartoon series about the life of Ned, a nine-year-old schoolboy and his pet, a newt who can sometimes grow two meters tall and talk with the help of special food.

content

The boy Ned finally wants to get a pet. Since he can only spend one dollar, he has no choice but to buy a newt. After Ned realizes that his Newton Newton is lazy on his rock, he goes back to the animal dealer to complain. He recommends “Zippo”, a magic animal feed . After feeding, Newton suddenly transforms into a two-meter-tall newt, who speaks to him and can transform itself as he likes. With him, Ned goes through his school day and experiences strange adventures. For example, both travel to the Stone Age with a self-made time machine .
