Imtiaz Dharker

Imtiaz Dharker (* 1954 in Lahore , Pakistan ) is a Pakistani-Scottish poet. She was born in the Pakistani city of Lahore in 1954 and came to Scotland as a year old . She grew up in the Scottish city of Glasgow and now shares her home between London and Mumbai . Besides poetry, she also wrote a few books. Imtiaz Dharker writes in English. She describes herself as a "Scottish Muslim Calvinist".
