Industria de Turbo Propulsores, SA ( ITP ) is a Spanish company and part of the ITP group that manufactures low pressure turbine stages for jet engines . Founded in 1989, the company is engaged in engineering , research , product development , manufacturing , assembly and testing of gas turbines for modern aviation . The factory is in Zamudio near Bilbao in the Spanish Basque Country .

The ITP group is owned by Sener Aeronáutica with a stake of 53.125%, the British Rolls-Royce holds 46.875% of the shares. Its activities include the maintenance of aircraft engines as well as the leasing and sale of engines and aircraft. The company produces the rear third of the engines for both the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner .

The company specializes in the manufacture of nickel-cobalt turbine blades for engines. These have to withstand 1000 degrees of heat for 15 hours a day, with an assumed service life of 20 years.

The factory facilities have a capacity to repair up to 400 engines annually.
