Industrial chemical

Industrial chemicals on the one hand technical chemicals , preferably within the chemical industry as intermediate product be further processed, or even used as an excipient such as basic chemicals , catalysts or solvents . They are thus differentiated from fine chemicals .

On the other hand, industrial chemicals are those substances that fall under the framework of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) , which regulates safe handling. Plant protection products , biocides and pharmaceuticals are not industrial chemicals.
