The Industrial enterprises AG Interlaken (IBI) is a power company for several municipalities in the region Interlaken in the Swiss canton of Bern .
The company, founded in 1904, supplies the communities of Interlaken , Matten and Unterseen with electricity, gas and water and the community of Bönigen with gas. The IBI also offers energy-related services in the areas of GIS (geographic information system), urban drainage, energy advice and fire protection. It has been run as a stock corporation since 2020.
IBI operates a hydropower plant on the shipping canal in Interlaken, a doping power plant in Unterseen, drinking water power plants near Saxeten and Wilderswil, and photovoltaic systems in Interlaken.
