Infected Disarray is a British death metal and grindcore band. which was founded in 2000.
history
The band was formed in 2000 by singer Eddie "Ed" Ruffles, drummer Jon "Rushy" Rushforth, guitarists Paul Martin and Lal Vipulananthan and bassist Steve Smith. In 2001, a first demo followed, which included three songs, after which the group of Vipulananthan and Smith separated. In 2004, guitarist Tom Bradfield and bassist Tom Carter came to replace the line-up. With this new line-up, the debut album Disseminating Obscenity followed in February 2009 via Unique Leader Records . The album was originally supposed to be released on Deadsun Records in October 2001 .
style
Frank Stöver from voicesfromthedarkside.de assigned the first demo to Grindcore, with the guttural vocals being extremely deep. According to Ewan Gibb from transcendingobscurity.com, the band on Disseminating Obscenity play a technically slightly demanding mix of aggressive death metal and grindcore. The arrangements of the songs are complex, while these are interspersed with breakdowns . In terms of brutality, the music is comparable to the American disgorge and technical standards to Defeated Sanity .
