history

In 2012 the Frankfurt Database Days were planned. They took place in March 2013 near Frankfurt am Main. As a result, in spring 2014 the magazine “Informatik Aktuell” was founded. The magazine went online in summer 2014.

The annual conference of Informatik Aktuell magazine takes place every year in the second week of December and consists of a conference program lasting several days with an accompanying exhibition. It is held under the name of IT Days in the Congress Center of Messe Frankfurt and was initially aimed at a technical audience such as software architects, database architects, developers and administrators. The areas of digitization, IT security, project management, agile software development and software architectures are now further focal points, for which there are separate theme days as part of the conference.
