Inga Hilsberg

Inga Hilsberg (* 1972 in Berlin ) is a German conductor .

Life

Hilsberg studied with Volker Wangenheim at the Cologne University of Music and passed her exam with distinction.

In 1998 she was engaged with members of the Semperoper Dresden for several performances of Mozart's Magic Flute in Brazil. In 1999 she made her debut as a conductor in the Berlin Philharmonic in a concert with the Pilsen Radio Symphony Orchestra. Since 1997 she has been chief conductor of the Junge Kammeroper Köln, an opera studio for young trained singers that is on tour as a touring theater with major operas in German-speaking countries.

As a pianist, she went on many concert tours with her sister Esther Hilsberg and was a. a. to be heard in the great concert halls of Berlin. She also took part in master classes and competitions.
