Ingeborg Förster

Ingeborg Förster , b. Eissing, (born November 13, 1920 in Emden ; † January 18, 2007 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) from Bremen . She was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

She worked in industry and trade since 1943 and studied economics and social sciences after graduating from high school. In 1951 she moved in with her husband who worked in Bremen. She then worked temporarily as a teacher at a commercial vocational school.

politics

Förster had been a member of the NSDAP since 1938 . After the war she joined the CDU in Bremen. In the 1960 / 1970s she was a member of the state executive committee of the Bremen CDU

From 1967 to 1983 she was a member of the Bremen citizenship for the CDU for 16 years and was active in various deputations and committees of the citizenship. From 1975 to 1983 she was Vice-Chair of the Citizenship Audit Committee . She was the economic policy spokeswoman for the CDU in the citizenry.

In 1972 she ran unsuccessfully at number 4 on the CDU's state list for the German Bundestag.
