Ingeborg Middendorf

Ingeborg Middendorf (* 1946 in Oldenburg ) is a German writer .

life and work

Ingeborg Middendorf was born and raised in Northern Germany. She studied German, philosophy and theology. She was a teacher, is the mother of Julian Middendorf (father: the actor, translator and author Hanns Zischler ) and lives as a freelance writer in Berlin and Ireland.

Since 1972 she has published in anthologies and in journals and magazines such as Twen, Gasolin, Kultuhr, Auftritt and TIP. She received several grants from the states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Berlin as well as the Villa Massimo in Rome.

  • 1989 Scholarship from the Senator for Cultural Affairs Berlin to complete the novel Boomerang (not yet published)
