Ingerid Vardund (born April 24, 1927 in Oslo ; † December 25, 2006 there ) was a Norwegian actress .

Vardund was best known in Norway for the 1973 cinema production Jentespranget and the 1980s entertainment series Hjemme hos oss . In the same year, Vardund was awarded the Actor Prize at the Moscow International Film Festival for the first-mentioned film drama by director Knud Leif Thomsen .

Vardund made her stage debut in Chat Noir in 1947 , and made her film debut five years later with Andrine og Kjell . In 1984 she received the Per Aabel Prize. In 1971 she was on a tour of Japan as Nora in Nora or a dolls house with the Nationaltheatret . She played in a number of films and was employed at the National Theater from 1958 to 1993. For a while she was married to the actor Carsten Byhring .
