Ingistara

Ingistara was an Italian measure of volume in Vicenza and Venice and was used for liquid goods such as wine.

  • Vicenza: 1 Ingistara = 75.6 Paris cubic inches = 75 ⅜ Paris cubic inches = 1.5 liters
  • Venice: 1 amphora of wine = 4 bigoncia
    • 1 Bigoncia inch wine = 4 quarti = 16 Sechi = 64 pounds = 256 Ingistara
    • 1 Bigoncia Cellar Wine = 2 Mastelle = 14 Sechi = 56 pounds
    • 1 Bigoncia = 111.6997 Viennese measure = 0.62 liters
