The Qafa e Bordolecit ( German : Bordolec Pass ) or Qafa e Predelecit is a mountain pass in northwestern Albania in the Albanian Alps . It lies on the watershed between the Danube and the Adriatic Sea . The paved road from Han i Hotit via Tamara to Vermosh or to Plav in Montenegro , the only road connection in this remote part of the country known as Kelmend, leads over it. Kelmend is the name of the former municipality and the resident tribe on both sides of the pass.

The place Lëpusha is located southeast of the pass summit . The road to the village branches off at the top of the pass from the pass road leading to the northeast. Another road, which goes off to the north at the top of the pass, opens up the forests and alpine pastures northwest of the pass.

The pass has been an important meeting place in Kelmend for ages. Every year on the second Saturday in August, the Logu i Bjeshkëve festival, the competition of the highlands , takes place on the pass . There is dancing, singing and music being played. A young woman in traditional folk costume is for Miss Bjeshkëve selected. The festival originally took place on July 26th, the day of Saint Prende, a pre-Christian goddess of beauty who was later identified with Saint Anne . In northern Albania it was customary for women to make themselves particularly beautiful on this day and to wear their best clothes.
