Ingo Ernst Reihl

Ingo Ernst Reihl (* 1969 in Oberhausen ) is a German conductor and university professor. He learned trumpet and piano at the music school in Mülheim an der Ruhr . From 1985 to 1988 he studied composition at the Folkwang Music Academy in Essen . In 1985 he founded The Young Orchestra NRW , which he has been leading musically ever since.

1987 awarded him the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr the Ruhr Prize for Art and Science . Since 1990 he has been a lecturer for music at the faculty for the fundamental studies of the University of Witten / Herdecke . Since 2001 he has been an honorary professor of conducting at the State Music Academy of Belarus.
