Ingrid Becker-Inglau

Ingrid Becker-Inglau born Neumann (born November 20, 1946 in Essen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the German Bundestag from 1987 to 2002 and was always directly elected in the Essen III constituency.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1967, she began studying at the Pedagogical University in Hagen , and in 1972 she became a teacher in Essen. In the same year she joined the SPD, for which she was a member of the Essen City Council from 1976 to 1987. In the German Bundestag she was most recently a member of the Committee for Economic Cooperation and as a deputy member of the Health Committee.
