Ingrid Hack (born July 28, 1964 in Cologne ) is a German politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life & Politics

Hack graduated from high school in Dormagen in 1983 and studied German, history and political science at the University of Cologne. In 1992 she finished her studies with a master's degree. From 1986 she worked as a publishing clerk and after an extra-occupational training as a marketing specialist in the field of public relations and fundraising in youth welfare. From 2002 to 2003 she worked for Lale Akgün, member of the Bundestag . She then worked as managing director of the KölnSPD (2003–2005) as well as the SPD Krefeld and the SPD in the Rhein-Kreis-Neuss (2010–2012). Ingrid Hack was a directly elected member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency of Cologne I from 2005 to 2010 and from 2012 to 2017 . From 2015 to 2017 she was chair of the study commission "Future of Family Policy in North Rhine-Westphalia", in both election periods she was deputy spokeswoman for the SPD parliamentary group for families, children and youth. In the state elections on May 14, 2017, Ingrid Hack did not return to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia.
