Ingrid Wigernæs (born February 22, 1928 in Hemsedal ) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Wigernæs, who started for the Romerikslaget IL , took 27th place over 10 km at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo . Two years later, she won 24th place over 10 km and seventh place with the relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1958 . At the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1964 , she came in 15th place over 5 km and 12th place over 10 km. The following year she managed to take third place with the relay at the Svenska Skidspelen . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1966 , she won the silver medal with the relay. In the individual races, she achieved 13th place over 10 km and 12th place over 5 km. In the same year she took third place over 10 km and second place with the relay at the Svenska Skidspelen. At Norwegian championships she won three times over 10 km (1960, 1961, 1966), twice over 5 km (1964, 1965) and twice with the relay of Romerikslaget IL (1965, 1966). In addition, she was five times third and four times second at Norwegian championships.
