At Tuv the valley divides into Mørkedalen to the west and Grøndalen to the northwest. Here the two mountain rivers Mørkedøla and Grøndøla unite and form the Hemsil, which in turn flows into the Hallingdalselva at Gol . The Rjukandefossen waterfall is a natural spectacle near Tuv .
