Nes is a Norwegian municipality in the former Fylke Akershus , today Viken , with 23,092 inhabitants (as of February 27, 2020). The seat of the administration is in Årnes .

To avoid having a second municipality called Nes in the Viken province, Nes in Buskerud has changed its name to Nesbyen on January 1st, 2020 .
