Flesberg is a village and a municipality in the province ( Fylke ) Viken in Norway . Flesberg has 2688 inhabitants (as of February 27, 2020) and covers an area of 560 km². The administrative seat is in Lampeland . The municipalities of Kongsberg , Øvre Eiker , Rollag and Sigdal in Fylke Viken and Notodden and Tinn in Fylke Vestfold og Telemark border on Flesberg .

geography
Most of the residents live in the localities of Lampeland, Svene , Flesberg and Lyngdal . Agriculture and forestry dominate the economy; but also the high-tech industries in the neighboring town of Kongsberg exert a great influence. In the western part of Flesberg the terrain rises steeply to the Blefjell mountain landscape . There is the highest point of the municipality, Flesebekknatten, at 1270 moh.
