Hole is a municipality in the province ( Fylke ) Viken in Norway . Hole has 6799 inhabitants (as of February 27, 2020) and extends over an area of 195 km². The administrative seat is in Vik. The communes of Ringerike in the north, Bærum in the east, and Lier and Modum in the south border on Hole .

The coat of arms shows four stilted , three-pronged, golden crowns in red . The crowns represent the four kings who resided in Hole:
