Ini-Teššup

Ini-Teššup was a Hittite viceroy in Karkemiš . He was the son of Šaḫurunuwa , whom he was in the reign of Ḫattušili III. followed on the throne and then ruled especially under Tudḫaliya IV . Clay tablets with his seal show that he corresponded with Bentešina and Šaušgamuwa of Amurru and with Ammistamru II of Ugarit.
