InkLink

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The InkLink is similar to the SmartPad one also from Seiko Instruments marketed device for digitizing.

The InkLink itself is just an adapter, which is clamped over a normal writing pad, measures the position of a special pen using ultrasound and outputs this either to a PDA , a PC or a notebook via infrared or USB connection .

The software only works on PCs with Microsoft Windows ; with Windows Vista and Windows 7 versions , the compatibility mode must be used for perfect functionality.

The InkLink pen is powered by three type SR41 button cell batteries.
