Incrustation (mycology)
Under encrustation means the crusting of hyphae or Zystidenwänden. Cell walls that are covered in crust-like form by granules or crystals are also known as encrusted . The occurrence of encrusted cell structures is an important taxonomic characteristic for many groups of fungi. The primordial hyphae of the deafblings are mentioned here as an example .
