Insa Peters-Rehwinkel (born Insa Peters ; born June 29, 1968 in Bremen ) is a German lawyer, politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Bremen Parliament .

biography

Family, education and work

After graduating from high school and studying law at the University of Bremen , Peters-Rehwinkel completed his legal clerkship in Lower Saxony and eventually settled as an independent lawyer .

She lives in Bremen- Vegesack .

politics

In 1999 Peters-Rehwinkel joined the SPD. She is currently the chairwoman of the Hammersbeck local association and was represented on the state executive committee of the SPD Bremen from 2004 to 2014 , including four years as secretary.

From 2003 to 2019 she was a member of the Bremen citizenship. She was chairman of the legal committee and a member of the municipal deputation for home affairs and sport as well as the animal welfare advisory board. She was judicial and animal welfare policy spokeswoman for petitions of the SPD parliamentary group.

The political focal points of Peters-Rehwinkel's work are sports policy, which she understands as youth, educational and integration work, as well as dealing with child victims in sex criminal proceedings, the spatial data infrastructure and the monkey experiments at the University of Bremen .

She is a member of the supervisory board of Bremer Bäder GmbH.
