Insectarium

An insectarium is a special form of terrarium for keeping insects or arachnids . The section of a zoo where insects are shown is also called this.

Containers for keeping insects can usually be seen on at least one side. Since invertebrates are usually more flexible than reptiles and especially amphibians when it comes to the necessary environmental conditions , control of temperature and humidity is often not so important. Because of the small size of the animals, smaller containers are mostly used.

The following animals are kept in insectariums:
