Inside Film Award

The Inside Film Awards ( IF Awards for short ) were Australian film prizes awarded annually from 1999 to 2012 . The initiator was the director Andrew Dillon . The IF Awards were given according to the vote of the audience and were therefore seen as an independent alternative to the AACTA Awards , in which an expert jury awarded the awards.

Categories

In addition to individual achievements, such as “Best Actress” or “Best Short Film” and “Best Editing”, life's works (“Living Legend”) or particularly potential (“Rising Talent”) were also honored.

The award ceremony for 2012 was canceled at short notice because the economic situation was difficult and demanding.
