Inspur (浪潮, formerly: Langchao ) is a Chinese hardware manufacturer and provider of IT services .

The production and development center of Inspur is located in China's Jinan in the province of Shandong . The product range includes PC server hardware and software development.

In 1983 Inspur manufactured the first microcomputer for the Chinese market. Since 1993 the company has been one of the most important hardware manufacturers in China. In June 2005 Microsoft invested USD 20 million in the company, which in April 2006 changed its name from "Langchao" to "Inspur".
