Installation certificate is known as one of installers from Germany and Austria alarm systems completed form.
The installation certificate documents the technical acceptance of the system as the subject of a work contract .
It proves also that the operator in his capacity as the policyholder with the installation of an alarm system in his insurance conditions laid down obligation to mitigate damages before the occurrence of the insured event has been met.

Germany
The installed alarm system is described in the installation certificate and the installer certifies that the system has been planned and installed with suitable devices in accordance with the guidelines of the Association of Property Insurers (VdS). The installation certificate has for the operator and policyholders in the event of damage probative force against its insurance on the proper construction of an alarm system as a prerequisite for the contractual obligation of the insurer .
Austria
The OVE guideline R2: 2010-01-01 published at the beginning of 2010 defines the state of the art for alarm systems and forms the basis for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of intrusion and hold-up alarm systems throughout Austria. Upon completion of an intrusion alarm system, the OVE R2 installation certificate must be completed by the respective installer. The original of the installation certificate remains with the operator. The insurer and the installer each receive a copy. The installation certificate documents the factory acceptance and serves the operator of the system in his capacity as the policyholder as evidence to the insurer.
Switzerland
The construction, conversion and operation of thermal engineering systems are subject to approval for reasons of fire protection. The installation certificate must also be submitted to the respective building authority with the required application documents, which confirms that the system complies with the applicable fire protection regulations and was built in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
