The Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Bahia , in short: Instituto Federal da Bahia ( IFBA ) is a technical educational institution ( polytechnic ) in the Brazilian state of Bahia with headquarters in Salvador da Bahia .
The IFBA offers courses and training programs at various levels of secondary and tertiary education on nine campuses in seven different cities across the state.
As a federal school, the facility is subordinate to the Brazilian Ministry of Education ( Ministério da Educação ).
