Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente
The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) is a Mexican ecclesiastical university and was founded in 1957.
It is one of 200 Jesuit universities worldwide . It is the university in the region with the largest number of scientists integrated into the research system. The university is located just outside Guadalajara in Jalisco . The ITESO also has a sports facility (soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc.) that students can use free of charge. In addition to sports courses, photography, theater, music, drawing, dance courses etc. are also offered. There is also a library called Biblioteca Dr. Jorge Villalobos Padilla, SJ The auditorium can accommodate 6000 people.
