The IntEgro Transport GmbH is a railway company (PSC), based in Reichenbach im Vogtland .

The company offers services in both freight and passenger transport. The authorization as an RU for freight and passenger transport has existed since January 27, 2009 and is valid until January 31, 2023. So far the company has only been regularly active in freight transport. Operations started on April 1, 2009. Since then, the EVB and the PRESS have been providing overseas container traffic in Bavaria. In September 2010 and August 2011 one locomotive of the Siemens ER 20 series was procured. In addition, the IntEgro runs cross-border transports to the Czech Republic . Since autumn 2015 IntEgro has only had one locomotive (223 152). The second locomotive (223 144) was handed over to Transdev Regio Ost , which, with this and other class 223 locomotives, has operated the regional express between Chemnitz and Leipzig since the timetable change in December 2015.

In February 2013, IntEgro Verkehr and National Express (bidding consortium) were awarded the contract to operate the North Rhine-Westphalian local transport lines RE7 Rhein-Münsterland-Express and RB48 Rhein-Wupper-Bahn from December 2015 as part of a Europe-wide tender . Deutsche Bahn as a loser made use of an objection option, but the public procurement tribunal at the Münster district government found no violation of procurement law.

The locomotive is also used on loan for passenger transport, for example on the regional express between Leipzig and Chemnitz in March 2019 and on a replacement train between Dresden and Kamenz in February 2020.
