Intel Broadwell-E

Intel Broadwell-E is the "Extreme" version of the Broadwell microarchitecture from Intel . The architecture is based on a 14 nm process and is compatible with the X99 chipset and the LGA 2011-3 socket . The new processors were released in the second quarter of 2016. They have up to 10 cores and 20 threads . The processors are also equipped with up to 25 MB L3 cache and 40 PCI Express lanes.
