Inter-County Championships
The Inter-County Championships are team championships in badminton in England in which teams from the counties compete against each other. They have been held since 1930. In 1996 they were replaced by the Premier Division . From 1937 on there was also a Division Two, in which only the second teams of the counties competed against each other until 1948. For age groups from 40 years of age ( veterans ) there are still Inter-County Championships (Over 40 since 1986, Over 45 since 1986, Over 50 since 1987, Over 55 since 1993, Over 60 since 1996, Over 65 since 2003 and Over 70 since 2010 ). In addition, a Veterans Inter-County League has been held for the age groups from O40 to O60 since 2000, which was supplemented in 2004 by the age group O65.
