Inter-Provincial Trophy 2019

The Inter-Provincial Trophy 2019 (also Test Triangle Inter-Provincial Trophy 2019 for sponsorship reasons ) was the seventh season of the national Twenty20 cricket competition in Ireland, which took place from June 22nd to August 18th, 2019. It was the third edition of the competition that was awarded Twenty20 status by the International Cricket Council . Northern Knights won the trophy for the first time after winning the cricket festival in June and the subsequent cricket festival in August being canceled due to the rainy weather.

format

Each team played twice against each other. There were 4 points for a win, 2 points for a no result or a tie. There was a bonus point if the run rate was 1.25 times that of the opponent.
