The Aid Campaign Märtyrerkirche eV (HMK) is a non-denominational aid organization for persecuted Christians , which was founded in 1969 by the Romanian Lutheran pastor Richard Wurmbrand .

activity

The HMK provides financial and material support to Christian communities and institutions in countries of persecution, mainly in Islamic , Hindu and Buddhist countries, as well as countries where communist systems suppress Christians.

She maintains projects on emergency aid, reconstruction, training, child aid, legal aid, evangelism, medical aid, survival aid and help for self-help and produces brochures, books, image and sound carriers about her work and the situation of the afflicted Christians, offers lectures in parishes and School classes and maintains a permanent exhibition on the persecution of Christians at its headquarters in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen.

The HMK works with other Richard Wurmbrand organizations such as Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) in the International Christian Association (ICA).

The German association is recognized as a non-profit organization. The chairman of the board is Ernest Ahlfeld, his deputy is church councilor Rolf Sauerzapf and the mission leader is Manfred Müller. The work is financed entirely from donations. The HMK bears the donation seal of the German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI), the German Donation Council and the German Evangelical Alliance .
