International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics

The International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) aims to promote applied mathematics internationally. This is done through regular meetings in the form of congresses. The ICIAM takes place every 4 years in a different country. The conference series is controlled by the International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and organized under their auspices.

Venues

Since 1999, five international prizes for applied mathematics have been awarded at ICIAM:

The conference topics cover all subjects of applied mathematics and are attended by participants from all continents. ICIAM 2019 had more than 4000 participants and 90 mini-symposia. Collaborations with the “African Math Union”, “China Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics” and the “European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology” have been created.
