International Council of Chemical Associations

The International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) is the trade association for the global chemical industry. Members are regional trade associations such as CEFIC in Europe or the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association as well as national associations such as the American Chemistry Council or the Association of the Chemical Industry (VCI) in Germany.

According to its own information, the ICCA represents chemical companies that make up more than 90% of global production capacities and generate annual sales of more than 5 trillion US dollars (as of 2017).

The ICCA is the patron of Responsible Care , a voluntary program to improve chemical safety among its members.
