International Ecological Safety Collaborative Organization

The International Ecological Safety Collaborative Organization (abbreviation: IESCO ) is an organization founded in China in 2006 whose goals are based on the implementation of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals . In 2014 the organization had 103 members. IESCO has two branches, one in Hong Kong and one in New York.

history

In 2010 IESCO was granted observer status at the "International Conference of Asian Political Parties" (ICAPP).

In 2011 IESCO was granted special advisor status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, observer status at the plenary session of the United Nations Economic and Social Council and observer status to the UN initiative " Alliance of Civilizations ".

In 2012, IESCO became an advisory body to the ICAPP and the Permanent Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean (COPPPAL).

In 2013, IESCO and the United Nations Human Settlements Program began working together to implement the UN Youth Empowerment and Urban Ecological Safety program.
