The International Peace Garden is a 9.46 km² park on the international border between Canada and the United States of America in the state of North Dakota and the province of Manitoba . The park was founded on July 14, 1932. Every year more than 150,000 flowers are planted in the park. The main features of the garden include a 5.5 m high flower clock, a fountain, a carillon and two 37 m high twin towers on the state border with a peace chapel on their foundations. The walls of the chapel are decorated with quotes about the dove of peace . Some debris from the World Trade Center from the September 11, 2001 attack was also placed in the park .

Since it is a park that extends across borders, it is counted among the Peace Parks .
