Company history

In 1956, Lincoln & Nolan acquired the rights to assemble the Heinkel cabin from Ernst Heinkel Flugzeugwerke . In the same year the separate company was founded in Dublin for assembly and sales. Production ended in 1958.

Dundalk Engineering Works acquired the production rights and facilities from Heinkel in 1958 and continued production in Dundalk until 1961 . These vehicles were called Heinkel-I .

vehicles

The only model was the Heinkel cabin. This microcar had a front door like the BMW Isetta .

Production numbers

In 1957, four Heinkel were registered in Ireland and eleven the following year. Of these eleven, however, some may already come from the new company, as it is not possible to split up within a year.
