International Society of Organic Agriculture Research

The International Society of Organic Agriculture Research (ISOFAR), in German International Society for Research in Organic Agriculture , in French Societé Internationale de la Recherche en Agriculture Biologique is a scientific organization. The registered association has its seat in Bonn and unites institutions and persons around the world who conduct agricultural research in the field of organic farming .

history

ISOFAR was initiated by the Bonn Institute for Organic Agriculture (IOL) and the Swiss Research Institute for Organic Agriculture (FiBL) and was officially founded in Berlin on June 20, 2003. Ulrich Köpke was elected founding president by the IOL.
