International women's chess tournament 1982
An international women's chess tournament in 1982 took place as part of the 10th Dortmund Chess Days and was the first international women's tournament in the Federal Republic of Germany that was not organized by the German Chess Federation . The organizers of the Dortmund Chess Days had invited ten strong women to this tournament. Isabel Hund was able to fill in as a substitute for a Bulgarian who was sick, so that three young German chess players were given the opportunity to achieve FIDE championship standards.
Prominent participants were the chess grandmasters Zsuzsa Veröci and Alexandra van der Mije. Zoltán Ribli , winner of the Dortmund Chess Days 1986, is the husband of Mária Grosch.
