The International Youth Program is aimed at young people between 14 and 25 years of age and offers opportunities for self-realization, adventure, social commitment and the development of personal interests. It is not an organization, but is used independently in their work by institutions such as schools, homes, youth groups and companies that have responsibility for young people. The basis for the activity of the participants are the local possibilities that are networked for the program.

In Baden-Württemberg, the program is issued as the Baden-Württemberg youth badge in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the Youth Service Center .
