The SA Interparking NV is a Belgian parking operator based in Brussels . The company has subsidiaries in nine European countries. As of December 31, 2015, the Interparking Group managed a total of 670 parking garages and parking spaces with a total of 329,959 spaces.
history
Interparking opened the first parking garage for Expo 58 in Brussels in 1958 . Over the years the group expanded its activities to the Netherlands (1966), Germany (1967), Austria (1975), France (1975), Spain (1995), Italy (2001), Romania (2010) and Poland (2011) out. This created a group with a total of 37 subsidiaries.

Interparking in Germany and Austria
In Germany, Interparking operates under the Contipark brand. Contipark Parkgaragengesellschaft mbH is a 100% subsidiary of Interparking and was founded in Berlin in 1967. The first multi-storey car park was in the Europa Center , a landmark of what was then West Berlin . Contipark is one of the largest national parking space managers and operates around 500 properties in Germany and Austria with around 130,000 parking spaces in more than 180 cities (as of 2015). Contipark operates parking facilities as property, lease and management objects and offers services related to parking. Contipark takes on the management of parking facilities in important location categories. These include:

- Train stations
- City or pedestrian zones
- Hotels, trade fairs, cultural and leisure facilities
- Clinics and health centers
