Interros ( Russian Интеррос ) is a Russian holding company based in Moscow . President of the company is Vladimir Olegowitsch Potanin (together with Mikhail Prokhorov until early 2008 ). Sergei Barbaschew is currently the General Director of Interros.
Interros operates as an investment company and was founded in 1990. In Russia, Interros holds stakes in companies in the mining and energy sectors, as well as in the retail, media and real estate sectors. Interros was valued at $ 9.4 billion in 2006.
In October 2006 the station Rambler TV was sold to the media holding Prof-Media , which in turn belongs to the Interros group.
Prof-Media owns the following channels: 2 × 2 , TV3 and MTV Russia .
