Ionides
Ionides (or Ionides ) are the nymphs of the river Kytheros in Greek mythology .
They are called Kalliphaeia, Synallaxis, Pegaia and Iasis. They had their sanctuary at the source of the river near Herakleia, which had healing powers. They owe their name to Ion , the son of Gargettos .
